Description
of shares and groups.
Shares are an individual or couple
who are essentially
renting a bed (in a room with others) for the season, whereas a group
is one or
more people who are renting a room for the season (and each of these
people is
also called a house share).
A
group
can arrange their own schedule for their group's room.
A
share or
a group can have a guest come up and stay in their room, but someone
can only
be a guest once for free.
After a guest's
one free visit, they must be a paying guest ($80 for a
weekend, $100 for a 2 day holiday weekend, and $40/night for any
subsequent
nights). SEE GUESTS and GUEST FEES (sections below).
For
the
regular sized rooms (Mediterranean /
Baltic /
Free Parking /Commonwealth Ave)
the basic pricing includes up to 3 people in a group, and each
additional
person is an additional $100.
For
the
larger rooms (Boardwalk and Park Place,
the pricing includes up to 5 people in a
group and each additional person is an additional $100.
The Flexibility OptionWhen a group buys a
room for the season on an every week basis, the
flexibility option means that you allow the possibility of
non-weekend/non-holiday shares to use your room when you are not there,
and you
also agree to give us some notice regarding when you will use the room
during
mid-week times, so we can coordinate that with any
non-holiday/non-weekend
shares and have them sleep elsewhere. You save $100 off of the price of the room for allowing
for this
possibility, and an additional $100
if we actually do have any non-holiday/non-weekend shares assigned to
your
room. Non-holiday/non-weekend
shares
(see, the Midweek Special) are required to put the room back to the
condition
you left it in, and the House Manager will take steps, if necessary, to
make
sure their things do not become in your way (for instance, they put
their bins
under a bed, and of course utilize the equipment shed for their
board(s).
